Redcar Kite Festival
14TH - 15TH June 2025
Redcar Kite Festival returns to the skies above Majuba Beach this year on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 June. Following the success of last year’s inaugural event by Redcar and Cleveland Council which attracted more than 17,000 visitors, the free family-friendly festival supported by Tees Valley Combined Authority will once again welcome some of the largest and most spectacular kites in the world courtesy of Northern Kite Group.
REDCAR KITE FESTIVAL

Redcar Kite Festival returned for another amazing year, welcoming over 30,000 people to Redcar Beach! This year has been the 3rd amazing year for the Kite Festival, the free family event which welcomes families, vendors and musicians from across the North East! We can not wait for another year of Kites!
MAJUBA SUNSET MARKET
During 2026, we have had the opportunity to be apart of 3 Sunset Markets, over the different days we've welcomed over 30,00 visitors to our seafront. We have been joined by over 30 different stalls and vendors. This events been running for 3 years!
CHARM BRACELET MARTHON
We have had the best morning, watching the sunrise and over 300 runner set off on half marathon or a full marathon. They ran from the Beach Base all the way to Whitby!
BRITISH TRIATHLON
